Harassment, Hazing, & Bullying

The Montpelier Roxbury School District is committed to providing all of its students with a safe and supportive school environment in which all members of the school community are treated with respect.


Please use the reporting form above and/or report to your building administrator if you believe you have witnessed or experienced discrimination, bias-based harassment, sexual harassment, sexual misconduct, or bullying at MRPS. Examples of these incidents include: discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation or any sexually charged remarks, gestures, or intimidation, or ongoing mistreatment.

Our Procedure

Review the Harassment, Hazing, and Bullying of Students Procedure that accompanies the MRPS Board of School Directors Policy F20. Within the procedure, you will find information on reporting complaints of harassment, hazing, and bullying (HHB) and the investigation, response to substantiated claims, and post investigative reviews procedures.

MRPS HHB Investigation History

  • 2020-2021 School Year - Investigations = 14 - Substantiated = Less than 12*

  • 2021-2022 School Year - Investigations = 19 - Substantiated = Less than 12*

  • 2022-2023 School Year - Investigations = 30 - Substantiated = Less than 12*

  • 2023-2024 School Year (as of early February, 2024) - Investigations = 15 - Substantiated = Less than 12*

* the number of substantiated investigations is not included because of identifiable factors.
