We've partnered again this year with Ember Photography for school photos!

2025-2026 School Year Photo Days

* UES and MSMS caregivers please read your school newsletter for the photo day scheduled by grade closer to the photo day dates listed above.

How it WORKS:

  1. Before Photo Day, Ember Photography will invite caregivers via email to their own private web-galleries, to which Ember Photography will add photos after Photo Day.

    • Optional: Families can purchase an advanced credit through your web-gallery before Photo Day to receive a discount on your order(s) later.

    • Please note a paper order form will also be available for those who are unable or do not want to use the web-gallery.

  2. Photo Day! All students, whether they intend to order photos or not, will get their portraits taken per the schedule above. Class photos are taken on the same day/s at MSMS and UES.

  3. Approximately 2 weeks after Photo Day, photos will be uploaded by Ember Photography to your web-gallery.

  4. Sign into your web-gallery to view and/or order portraits and class/group photos (UES and MSMS only).

  5. Save on shipping by ordering photos before the deadline for school-delivery. The deadline will vary for each school and will be announced in the school newsletter. You can also opt to have your photo order shipped directly to your home anytime.

  6. A Make Up Day will be offered in October for students who were absent on Photo Day, and/or if you are truly unsatisfied with your photos. Contact Ember Photography before Make Up Day to discuss any possible re-takes. Some re-takes are subject to extra charges.

  7. By late October/early November, final photo orders will be delivered to the schools. Additional photo orders can be placed anytime via your web-gallery, with shipping always available directly to your home.

Frequently Asked Questions:

  • Who do I contact if I have questions regarding signing into, reviewing photos in, and/or ordering through the web-gallery?

  • Is there money available from the school if I cannot afford to order pictures for my student?

    • Yes, there are funds available to make purchasing photos possible for all students and their families. Please inquire with you school principal or social worker.

  • Is there a paper order form if I’m unable or do not want to use the online web-gallery?

    • Yes! A paper order form will be available. Request a paper order form from your school’s front office administrative assistant.

  • If I miss the deadline for ordering for school-delivery, will I be able to order photos later?

    • Yes, you can order photos anytime after your photos are posted to the web-gallery. You will need to pay a small shipping fee to have the photos shipped to your home.

  • How does Make Up Day work?

    • A Make-Up Day will be scheduled for those who were absent on Photo Day, or for capturing any retakes that might be necessary (e.g. if there is a real problem with your photos or if you are truly unsatisfied with the photos captured on Photo Day). Some retakes can be subject to extra charges. Please contact Ember Photography before Make Up Day to discuss your need for a retake.
